Prints
A print is the number shown on a card. It helps tell a card's story, but it is not a universal ID: the same character's different versions each have their own print history, and Legacy and RNG prints are separate systems.
Kana uses a two-era print system. The first era gives every version a clear, chronological beginning. The second keeps new drops meaningful long after that version's first year—or first thousand drops—has passed.

Each character version follows this progression independently. A character's alternate version starts at L-1 even if another version has already reached RNG prints.
Legacy Prints: the Early Record
The first 250 drops of a version receive Legacy prints in strict order: L-1, then L-2, and so on through L-250. This preserves the original, numerical collecting experience for people who supported a version early.
The counter advances whenever the version drops, whether or not anyone grabs the card. An unclaimed L-25 is still the twenty-fifth Legacy drop for that version.
Legacy prints stop at L-250; no new Legacy print can be created above that number.
RNG Prints: a Fresh Chance Later On
After a version has had 250 drops, its later printed cards use the RNG system instead. An RNG print is rolled from 1 to 3000, with the number itself shown without the L- prefix.
RNG prints are repeatable. For example, two copies of the same version can both have RNG print 42. L-42 and RNG 42 are also different prints: the prefix tells you which era produced the card.
This means players who discover Kana later can still pull exciting low numbers, without replacing the fixed early Legacy record. Legacy rewards the earliest drops with a one-time sequence; RNG keeps every later drop in the running.
Printless Cards
After the Legacy era, some drops are printless instead of receiving an RNG number. These cards have no print displayed and are not Legacy or RNG prints. The version's drop count still advances, but a printless card does not take a number from either print system.
What Happens When a Card Leaves Play?
Sacrifice treats the print's type and number differently. Low numbers are preserved for other players, while higher or printless cards can leave the collection permanently.

1–9are sent there for players to bid on. - Vault: preserved cards have their frame and other customizations removed, then can return in future drops.
